The consulate of China in Los Angeles will only process visa applications for residents of Southern California residing the following counties:
- Imperial County
- Riverside County
- San Barbara County
- Kern County
- San Bernardino County
- Ventura County
- Los Angeles County
- San Diego County
- Orange County
- San Luis Obispo
All other counties are considered Northern California and must apply to Consulate of China in San Francisco.
